Teaching
Women at
NCCIW to be Useful
and Fruitful for God |

While
reading Isaiah 58:10, it became clear that God said, “Divide the bread with
the hungry.” I asked God, “Who are the hungry?”
Reflecting over God’s revelation in addition to past conversations with
other Bible study leaders, I realized that our typical audience of church goers
are often not hungry. God revealed, “The prisoners are hungry; FEED them.”
While their hearts might be hurting, they are hungry for the truths of God’s
word with uncluttered lives and few distractions. So, in obedience Dew4Him is
feeding them. God
opened a window of incredible opportunity and we are offering discipleship
training on the 2nd Friday of each month for the “long-timers” at NCCIW.
We have a 2-hour time slot to celebrate Jesus and train the prisoners to
be useful and fruitful tools in the
hand of God. The Prison calls it TGIF. This
training is designed to
Energize bodies to worship
Encourage hearts with kindness
Empower spirits to serve
Equip minds in the truth

Jesus
said, 'Come,
you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared
for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me
something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a
stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick
and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.' Matthew
25:34-36 Be
a Sponsor and
“Visit”
a Prisoner Each
monthly session costs about $300-$500 and is attended by approximately 150
women. Your church, your business,
or your Sunday school class can sponsor a month of TGIF and cover the costs of
food, Bibles, favors, and materials.
